Troubleshoooting

If you are having problems updating quantities in your shopping cart, it might be your security. Some security programs that come with internet packages, specifically Roadrunner, have proven to be non-compatible with our site. By temporarily turning off the security while placing your order, quantities will update correctly.

Problems can also arise with Caching, Cookies and Javascript. Please make sure cookies and javascript are enabled. Please follow the instructions below for your web browser.

Internet Explorer 7.0+

Caching

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  2. On the General tab - locate the Temporary Internet Files area, click Settings
  3. Locate the Check for newer versions of stored pages area, make certain that the radio button is highlighted on Every visit to the page
  4. Click OK to close Settings

Cookies

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. In the settings section, make sure the slider is set no higher than medium
  4. Click "Apply"
  5. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Javascript

  1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
  2. Select the "Security" tab
  3. Click on Custom Level
  4. Scroll down until you see section labeled "Active Scripting"
  5. Select "Enable"
  6. Click OK to save changes
  7. Confirm Yes and click "OK"
  8. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 6.0

Caching

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu
  2. On the General tab - locate the Temporary Internet Files area, click Settings

  4. Click OK to close Settings

Cookies

  1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
  2. On the Privacy tab - move the slider down to the "Accept All Cookies" privacy setting for the Internet zone.
    NOTE: You should change this setting back to its original setting after placing your order on our site
  3. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog
  4. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Javascript

  1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
  2. Select the "Security" tab
  3. Click on Custom Level
  4. Scroll down until you see section labeled "Active Scripting"
  5. Select "Enable"
  6. Click OK to save changes
  7. Confirm Yes and click "OK"
  8. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Caching

  1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu

  2. Locate the Custom area of the Security tab. Select the Custom Level button. Security Settings dialog opens
  3. Scroll down to the Scripting section of the Settings window. Select the Enable radio button under Active Scripting
  4. Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog
  5. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Javascript

  1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
  2. Locate the Content Advisor area of the Content tab
  3. The radio button should read Enable. (If not, click on Disable until it reads Enable)
  4. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog
  5. Close and restart Internet Explorer

Firefox 1.5+

Caching

  1. From the "Tools" menu select" Options"…
  2. Select the "Privacy" tab
  3. In the Private Data section, click the "Clear Now…" button

Cookies

  1. From the "Tools" menu select" Options"…
  2. Select the "Privacy" tab
  3. In the Cookies section, put a check in the "Accept cookies from sites " box
  4. Select "they expire" from the "Keep until" menu
  5. Close and restart Firefox

Javascript

  1. From the "Tools" menu select" Options"…
  2. Select the "Content" tab
  3. Put a check in the "Enable Javascript" box
  4. Close and restart Firefox

  1. Choose Edit > Preferences
  2. Click Security
  3. In the Accept Cookies section, select either "Always" or "Only from sites you navigate to"

Javascript

  1. Choose Edit > Preferences

  3. Make sure "Enable Javascript" is selected

Netscape Communicator 6.2

To enable cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Click on &Edit& in the browser tool bar
  2. Then, click on &Preferences.&
  3. In the "Preferences& section, you will see several items in the &Category& window
  4. Click on &Privacy and Security&
  5. Then, click on "Enable all cookies".
  6. Click on &Advanced.&
  7. Click on &Clear Memory Cache& and &Clear Disk Cache.&
  8. Below the &Clear Disk Cache& button, make sure that the: "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network", is highlighted on, "Every time I view the page".
  9. Click on &Proxies& in the category window. Make certain that the proxies are set to "Direct connection to the internet".

AOL

Enabling JavaScript:

  1. Open your browser. From the menu bar, select My AOL | Preferences
  2. Click on the WWW icon. In the Internet Zone section, if any setting other than Custom is selected, JavaScript is already enabled already. If Custom is selected, you must make sure that JavaScript is enabled
  3. Click on the Settings button
  4. In the Security Settings section, scroll down to the Scripting section, and under Active scripting, select either Prompt (which will present you with a dialog box every time active scripting is encountered) or Enable (which will fully enable active scripting without user interaction)
  5. Press OK to close the Security Settings window, click Yes in the resulting warning box if changes were made, and then click OK to save all changes
  6. Close the Internet Options window
  7. Enabling Cookies: In AOL, cookies are automatically enabled and cannot be turned off
  8. For assistance with enabling cookies for AOL, please refer to AOL's Technical Support, at: 1-800-827-6364. (Note: AOL does not provide online documentation about enabling cookies for their web browser, and has chosen to handle this on a per customer basis.)
