Q - I am having problems adding  items into my shopping cart, editing quantities and/or checking out. What's wrong?

A - Please make sure cookies and javascript are enabled in your web browser. This web site has been designed to be compatible with common web browsers on both Macintosh and PC computers. For optimal use we recommend Netscape 6.0 or higher OR Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Additionally we suggest a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 and enabling both Javascript and Cookies. If you are still having problems please let us know - we're here to help!

Q - Why can't I check out with 6 plants in my cart?

A - We have an order minimum of twelve (12) Live Plants. Orders over 12 plants must be in multiples of six (6). There is no minimum order per variety, you may order one each of multiple varieties if you'd like. Your Total Order Quantity however, must be a multiple of six (6). In other words, you must order 12, 18, 24, 30 etc Live Plants.

Q -Why can't I check out with 4 fresh chiles in my cart?

A - We have an order minimum of six (6) half-pints of Fresh Chiles. Orders over 6 half-pints must be in a multiple of six (6). There is no minimum order per variety, you may order one each of multiple varieties if you'd like. Your Total Order Quantity however, must be a multiple of six (6). In other words, you must order 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 etc Fresh Chiles.

Q - How do I find a certain chile?

A - You may look for chiles via 4 ways. Our Keyword Search, our Advanced Search, our Chile Chart, and our Chile Photos.
Our Keyword Search allows you to search on a word, the Advanced Search allows you to search on multiple values, our Chile Chart is a sortable chart that allows you to sort on certain options, and our Chile Photos allows you to find a chile starting with a certain letter.

Q - I am not able to check out as my credit card will expire before the date that I want my items to be shipped, and I do not have a new card with a new expriation date yet. What do I do?

A- You may either use another card, or call  us to place this order. By phone we can tag your order so that we can contact you for your new expiration date, if we do not hear from you when you receive your new card.

Q - I saved some items in my cart to review later, but when I returned my cart was empty! What happened?

A - For your protection, your shopping cart session will time out after eight hours of inactivity.
Sorry, the site does not allow you to save your cart for later.
