Beefsteak Tomatoes

Beefsteaks are favorites, and are probably the most popular types of tomato plants for the home gardener to grow. These generally are larger tomatoes, more kidney-shaped than round, and usually have "shoulders".

Beefsteak tomatoes are well suited for eating raw, and are wonderful for slicing, especially for sandwiches. The best-flavored beefsteaks are late season varieties, taking 80 to 90 days to mature.

Here are our beefsteak tomato plants.
