San Marzano Redorta is a larger cousin of the classic San Marzano, hailing from the Tuscany region of Italy and named for a mountain in Bergamo. These meaty, elongated plum tomatoes have low acidity and a sweet, concentrated tomato flavor perfect for sauce.
Ideal for marinara, canning, slow-roasting, and making tomato paste. Produces larger fruits than the standard San Marzano with the same excellent sauce-making qualities. A top pick for Italian cooking enthusiasts.
