Description
A robust garden plant, New York Ironweed is a tall, clump-forming perennial boasting loosely branched clusters of tiny, fluffy, intense purple, finely petaled flower in late summer and early fall. Each flower head can consist of up to 30-50 flowers. An excellent choice for border backdrops or tight spaces, and grows well in native meadow gardens.
